Assist Senior Search Engine Marketing Specialist in developing, directing and managing organic and paid search efforts for the Kroger Company. Conduct research, identify best spend opportunity and develop relevant keywords/terms by campaign for most effective search exposure on the top search engines. Produce and deliver effective campaigns converting a search user to perform the desired action. Continually optimize paid search campaigns to improve overall conversion rates and cost:per:activity. Provide analysis of search campaigns and report impact of search efforts to the identified success measures. Essential Job Functions::/h2:
: Work with Senior Search Marketing Specialist to manage the annual investment of paid search expenditures on behalf of the Enterprise.
: Provide expert direction to Media Planners for best media spend allocation for on:going and campaign specific search campaigns.
: Day:to:day management of paid search campaigns, general market and Hispanic, including oversight of bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting.
: Thorough keyword analysis by reviewing keyword opportunities, building keyword lists, analyzing search volume and making recommendations.
: Maximize search opportunities and optimization efforts to ensure most effective use of search dollars.
: Campaign bid management and optimization using search management and search engine platforms and site analytics. Provide expert direction to G.O. Digital Customer team, Technology team, and Creative Services for website/mobile page builds impacting paid search engine quality rank scores, cost:per:clicks, and cost:per:conversions.
: Develop and troubleshoot keywords or text ads for acceptance into the search engines.
: Pull daily activity reports and pacing reports for all active campaigns, checking that keywords are live and generating activity. Optimize keywords and bids as necessary for optimal performance.
: Generate and provide end of campaign reports to the Digital Media Insights and Finance teams
: Provide end of campaign analysis reporting and on:going direction for optimization of existing and future campaigns.
: Educate and inform Media Planning and Digital Media Teams of paid search best practices and latest industry trends and relevant opportunities.
:Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
: Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Minimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
: 3+ years SEM experience with a strong background of managing paid search campaigns.
: Knowledge of Search Engine platforms, search analysis using site analytics
: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
: Accuracy and attention to detail.
: Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks.
: Strong capabilities in data analysis.
: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint.
: Ability to travel independently Desired Previous Job Experience::/h2:
: Bachelors degree in Math, Statistics, or related field
: 3+ years SEM experience with a strong background of managing paid search campaigns for brick and mortar retail clients as well as online retail clients
: Google Adwords professional (GAP) certified
