Summary/Purpose:The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling production for the branch and miscellaneous administrative support, as required. The Scheduler will also create customer goodwill by developing a professional working relationship with sales staff, builders (customers), and insulation field superintendents in order to maintain and control scheduling and proper job ticket paper flow.Duties/Responsibilities:Work closely with builders/customers, Sales staff and Production Manager to schedule jobs in system.Maintain the daily job schedule; print daily job tickets.Confirm status of jobs; conduct confirmation calls and update changes in job schedule.Update builders/customers on any scheduling changes; reschedule jobs as necessary to maximize daily capacityWork closely with Sales and Payroll personnel to ensure all job tickets are in daily to meet scheduling and payroll deadlines.Scan daily job cards into Onbase; ensure weekly time journal reports are received from installers and scan into Onbase.May verify that all jobs submitted from Sales personnel meet the minimum requirements as set by branch.May input material usage entries, review, and analyze job schedules for accuracy and completeness, making changes/updates as necessary.Ensure vehicle inspection (DOT) reports are completed and returned daily from install crewsOrder office supplies, as needed.Other duties as assignedRequired SkillsHigh School diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 2 years customer service experience; prior scheduling experience preferredBilingual in English and Spanish requiredCustomer service oriented; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationshipsExcellent written and oral communication skills; must have exceptional phone presenceProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Typing/keyboard skills of 45 wpmSelf-directed, takes initiative in seeking efficiencies of processes; follow-through on implementationDemonstrated analytical skills and problem solving skillsDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracyProven organizational skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to handle several projects concurrently and to work in a team environmentBi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.USI is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Minorities, Women, Veterans, DisabilitiesDrug Free WorkplaceUSI is an E-Verify employer.
