RARE 1910 Handblown KELSO SODA WORKS Bottle. It's also marked "C & D KELSO, WASH". C & D was short for COOPER & DARLING.

The Kelso Soda Works started in business in about 1908, and was owned by Marion Cooper and Lester L Darling. This bottle is marked at the bottom "0 - S A B Co" Which means that it was made in 1910 at the Streator plant of the American Bottle Co. It stands 8-3/8" high.

I don't see and chips or cracks. The color of this bottle is mostly green with a hint of blue. It's quite primitive looking. There are some specs of dirt here and there. As you look at the bottom you can see that it's thicker on one wall of the bottle. Also if you look at the bottom, one side is thicker in depth. There are numerous bubbles in the glass. The mold seam marks stop at the base of top, so it looks like the top was hand applied.

Cool piece of long gone Kelso history! Great item for the bottle collector or Kelso history buffs.
