The Position We are looking for a leader to work with a growing team of product solution developers. The Product Development Manager works with other Product Development Managers, the Product Solutions Director and other leaders in the organization to deliver quality products. This is a highly visible internal business role, requiring a high level of cross-functional team building skills as well as collaboration, mentorship and individual coaching. This is a "working" managerial position, where direct contributions to the products will be expected. Primary Responsibilities: Able to Inspire: lead and manage the growth of high achieving employees on the Axiom Software Product Solutions team. Develop top talent and provide mentorship and coaching to onsite and remote direct reports. Perform talent management tasks including staff planning, performance evaluations, expense report approvals, shift coverage, PTO. management, targeted hiring and onboarding of Customer Success Analysts. Passionate about people and success; be an advocate for the team, the department, the company and the customer. Pushing for the mutual success of all parties. Strong communicator: Work with leadership both within development and other departments to clearly understand goals, and then effectively communicate that into a clear and simple mission for the teams, ensuring the team understands and is empowered to drive success. Collaboration: A high degree of cross team and cross departmental interactions is required. Looking for a proven ability to work with those teams to achieve clear goals. Qualifications: A' . Professional traits necessary for all leaders: o Ownership o Simplify and Communicate o High standards for self and others o Personal humility o Decisiveness o Delivery A' . 5+ years of experience managing software development teams A' . 5+ years of experience with deep hands-on development experience as an individual contributor or lead. A' . Deep technology understanding and strong appetite to learn and continue to develop those skills. A' . Clearly demonstrated history of strong integrity, ethics and fairness A' . Experience with agile methodologies A' . Experience with Microsoft SharePoint A' . Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server A' . Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Preferred Qualifications: A' . Experience managing teams with some remote members A' . Experience with high scale, enterprise software Education A' .
