We currently have an opportunity for a Part-Time and Full-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. We are seeking customer service professionals who have a passion for customer service and emergency medicine and who want to grow their career in client service. Primary responsibilities Our CSRs represent the face of DoveLewis and are crucial to establishing excellent first impressions with clients and visitors. Exemplar customer service skills are essential for your success in this position. In this position, you will guide clients skillfully through all aspects of their visit. This includes greeting and assisting clients, providing them with frequent updates on their pets' condition, and conducting a smooth checkout. You will employ professional telephone etiquette to manage our busy multi-line phone and overhead paging system, including answering questions, taking messages, and routing calls as appropriate. Keeping clients as your number one priority is key. You will also assist grieving families with the loss of their pet by explaining the euthanasia process, memorialization options, and our pet loss support services. Attention to detail is critical in this position as you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payments, donations, financial documents, invoices, reports, and paperwork and entering client/patient records in the veterinary database. Required Qualifications Minimum of one year experience working in a fast-paced office, reception, administrative, or customer service capacity (experience with veterinary field highly preferred). Technical aptitude. Knowledge of computer functions and operating software such as MS Word and Excel. Experience using veterinary software (Cornerstone) is a plus! Ability to operate multi-line phone system, filing system, imaging program, and office equipment such as copier and fax machine. Ability to pay close attention to detail, maintain accuracy, and multi-task in a busy environment while maintaining composure and professionalism at all times. Ability to problem-solve and work independently. Shift Information This shift will be determined shortly, but will include weekends. Our staff currently enjoys a set schedule that allows for a good work-life balance and ability to plan ahead for time off. We are a 24-hour emergency hospital which means shifts may change according to the needs of the hospital and may include overnight hours. The ability to be flexible to work some holidays, assist with shift coverage, and be on-call (once a month) as needed is required.
