Purpose for the Position Purpose for the Position: The International Admissions Office is seeking a customer focused, sales oriented, and values driven International Recruitment Director to join our highly successful Admissions Team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to greatly impact the university by recruiting highly talented international students to our undergraduate and graduate programs, as further the vision of the university. Essential Responsibilities:Research market and analyze trends in international admissions. Collaborate with International Admissions Director and other academic program directors to develop long-term enrollment strategies. Contribute to the setting of recruitment and enrollment goals.Identify strategic recruitment markets, make recommendations on partnerships, collaborate with members of the admissions staff with international admissions responsibilities, and plan international inquiry and yield eventsWork closely with the office of International Student Services to help orient international students to George FoxMaintain and develop international partnerships (eg, high schools, community colleges, EducationUSA Offices, partnership schools abroad, partner agents); Assists as necessary in advising students on immigration, documentation, budgeting, etc.Establish and maintain a dynamic, cooperative relationship with program directors and faculty in programs with international students.Support admissions and recruitment efforts in all graduate programs as a member of the Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions teams. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.Five years of increasing responsibility in international higher education administration (preferably in international recruitment and/or admissions)Exceptional interpersonal, intercultural, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of trends in international student recruitment and emerging student markets;Fluency in a language other than English; Chinese preferred.Extremely strong oral and written communication skills in English.Ability and willingness to travel on occasional or regular basisProven ability to learn and use technology as required for the position, including the use of social media and university database.Ability to work independently and manage multiple and changing priorities.High level of initiative and goal orientation.Motivation towards aggressive goals and a commitment to teamwork.Strong customer service orientation and understanding of needs of international students.Commitment to issues of ethnic and gender diversity.An evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the institution's goals, including signed agreement with GFU Statement of Faith and Statement of Community Responsibilities.
