Human Resources : Leave of Absence Specialist Job Summary:The Leave of Absence Specialist requires an individual who is courteous, efficient, accurate and thorough, with a pleasant personality. Requires the ability to multi:task, follow direction, be open to change and work under pressure effectively while meeting numerous and frequent deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a self:starter capable of working with limited supervision while participating in a team environment. The Leave of Absence Specialist also must be able to guard highly confidential and sensitive information. Must be able to interpret and analyze documentation and multiple facts with strong problem solving and analytical skills. In addition, the job requires an individual who is extremely accurate, efficient, and detail oriented with excellent organizational, tracking skills, and documentation skills. The job requires a level of experience and aptitude in utilizing complex Excel spreadsheets, database, and financial application software, as well as experience with data manipulation involving importing and exporting of data, use of query tools, and report writers with the ability to quickly learn other software packages with great proficiency. Job Requirements:The Leave of Absence Specialist must possess professional oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate sensitive information in a compassionate and neutral way. The person must be able to deal with difficult and stressful situations and the ability to make educated and impartial decisions with extreme accuracy, partnering with management as questions or concerns arise.Must have expertise in FMLA, State Law, WorkerA?s Compensation, USERRA, ADAA, HIPAA, ACA, and all related employment lawsMinimum of 3:5 years of experience overseeing a leave programMulti:state experience is preferred, particularly in California, Oregon, and Washington, and ColoradoHands on leave administration and comprehensive case management, experience working in a centralized environment supporting multiple offsite locationsBachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related fieldSHRM, PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.About Kuni Automotive:Our company was founded on the belief that if you take care of the employees, the employees take care of the customers, and that takes care of the bottom line.
