We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our team You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of manufacturing projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The Manufacturing Manager will also be the liaison between engineering, manufacturing and sales to ensure the products being produced meet the design criteria, quality standards and customer specifications.
:Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
:Ensure efficient collaboration and co:ordination between relevant departments including engineering, procurement, quality, distribution and management
:Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
:Place production orders from customers
:Plan short term and long term production schedules, implement and control the production schedule
:Determine staffing resources required, determine material resources required, and manage staffing and material resources to meet production targets
:Monitor and review the performance of staff and make necessary interventions for improvement
:Help create and implement standard operating procedures for production operations, and ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
:Set product quality standards, monitor quality standards of products and implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
:Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems, determine and implement improvements to the production process
:Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
:4 year college degree in related field
:5 years of manufacturing and/or product development, working with financial operating budgets
:Knowledge of production tools and equipment
:Strong leadership qualities
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings ,general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
experience/knowledge with Bill of Materials creation and management, MRP, Microsoft Project and MS Office
:Experience with Syspro ERP preferred
