  • In this position, you will create emulation/FPGA models from a RTL design using Emulation/FPGA synthesis, partitioning and routing tools
  • You will define and document RTL changes required for emulation/FPGA and work with Design team to get it implemented and delivered
  • You will develop hardware and software collateral and integrate it with the model
  • You will be responsible for working with other teams in a virtual team environment to co-develop multi-chip emulation model and debug multi-chip models for functionality and correctness
  • You will develop improvements to usability by RTL validation and debugging of failing RTL tests on the emulation platform
  • You will Interface with and provide guidance to pre-silicon Validation teams for optimizing pre-Si validation environments, test suites and methodologies for emulation efficiency
  • You will develops and apply automation aids, flows and scripts in support of emulation ease of use and improvement of equipment utilization

  • Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • defining emulation model strategy during planning phase
  • design and implement model build and runtime infrastructure
  • perform model enabling as well as provide support to the community of emulation model users


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS EE/CS/CSE with 5-9 years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of RTL design or verification experience with 5+ years of fluency with Verilog, System Verilog, C/C++
  • 3-5 years of experience/familiarity with Python and performing basic coding and debugging of SW tools
  • 5+ years of prior emulation experience with Synopsys and Mentor Graphics Emulation Platforms
