The Trusted Distributed Systems research in group in Intel Labs is tasked with improving reliability, resiliency and scalability for trusted and trustworthy distributed systems such as distributed ledgers and blockchain technologies. We are looking to hire an intern to develop algorithms, protocols, and distributed system architectures for a new generation of trusted distributed systems. Potential internship topics may include encrypted storage services, cryptographic notary services, or consensus protocols.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- You must be a student enrolled in a Master of Science or a Ph.D. degree program in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering with a focus on distributed systems, security or cryptography.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience building distributed systems
Familiarity with the use of cryptography to ensure system integrity
Familiarity with Intel's Software Guard Extensions SGX
Comfort with distributed systems performance optimization
Experience developing in PythonInside this Business Group
