Manager, Software Development

We ae looking for an innovative Development Manager to enhance and expand our telephony platform and further enhance itsconnections to the entire range of CDK products. You will interface with upper management and other managers to facilitate delivery of engineering initiatives.You will have overall accountability for the quality and schedule of all development deliverables.You will provide input to the strategic direction of product road map and communicate road map to the team. PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Manage a group of developers to ensure timely delivery of all development deliverablesto acceptable quality levels.
:Work with program and product management and provide input to product road map; provide estimates for technical components.
:Provide technical leadership and direction to the team; ensure engineering excellence
:Establish goals and performance measures for the team; conduct performance reviews, coach and mentor team members to meet strategic objectives.
:Experience managing large scale projects
:Prior experience in telephony strongly preferred
:Experience building and developing high performance teams (hiring, career development, motivation)
:Experience in delivering commercial software in Software as Service (SaaS) is essential
:Demonstrable skillset in communication and collaboration
:Experience with Agile/SCRUM development framework
:Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
:Ability to speak to the strengths and weaknesses of various technology solutions
Education and Experience Requirements:
:BS/MS degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
:10+ years of experience with software development
:6+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
:At least 1 year of experience in people management (hiring, performance management etc.)
