Temp-Control Mechanical Service (TCMS) is a branch that is specific to clients in the Pacific Northwest, with offices in Oregon and Washington. TCMS is currently is looking for a self-starting Project Sales Representative who possesses strong business acumen, tenacity and a proven ability to influence an organization’s top decision-makers. The primary role of the Project Sales Representative will be to redeem annual booking plans in assigned markets and territories at company approved pricing standards and develop assigned key accounts. Roles and Responsibilities Work with existing clients to build long term-relationships and future sales Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, and answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner Plan and schedule appointments and manage personal time to assure maximum productivity Survey mechanical systems and determine repair, modification and/or replacement requirements to provide solutions to problems Understand prospect’s needs and problems Interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions Estimate cost of repair, modification, and replacement of mechanical systems Understand customer costs to own, operate, and maintain facilities and translate understanding into proposals and sales that will enhance the customer’s facility Identify prospects in assigned market and promptly follow up on leads and referrals Establish customer rapport and identify needs Maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met Promptly address customer concerns to assure resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationships Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with field, office, and management personnel to resolve problems, exploit opportunities, and maximize profits Effectively represent the company’s interests to outside agents Provides support for any special projects as assigned by your manager Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office Strong negotiation skills Advanced writing and presentation skills Competent understanding of mechanical systems Ability to identify problems and propose cost-effective solutions 3-5 years of Sales experience 5-7 years of experience with commercial HVAC systems Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is an asset Mechanical aptitude Knowledge of building codes and standards Must possess a valid driver’s license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider Build Your Career with Temp-Control Mechanical Service!
