Come join Intel's New Technology Group NTG. This position is in the Emerging Security Lab ESL, which is part of Security & Privacy Research SPR in Intel Labs. As a Researcher in Intel labs, you will have an opportunity to: initiate the design, development, execution and implementation of security research projects. You will investigate the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products several years prior to landing on a product road map while maintaining substantial knowledge of state of the art principles and theories, and contributing to scientific literature and conferences. The researcher will develop innovative algorithms, protocols, and distributed system architectures for trusted distributed systems based on advance hardware security features like Software Guard Extensions (SGX). Potential use cases include secure multiparty computation in the cloud, block chains/distributed ledgers and end-to-end secure IoT analytics.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
•Must be have a Masters-Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
•Minimum of 1 year of experience in the following areas: Systems programming, Distributed computing applications and protocols, and Developing and executing a research plan
•System security, Applied Cryptography, and Hardware based security technology such as SGX
