Our beautiful standard poodle Mercedes is now expecting. We are eagerly awaiting her puppies to be born on Christmas day. Oh Happy Holidays. They will be ready to go home the third week in February. The color of the puppies will be a surprise as Mercedes has decided to breed with both of our studs this time. Given the timing of the two ties, Dutch may well be the father. Fritz was about four days too early. We may end up with some light and dark chocolate puppies with a cream and/or a black puppy. A true Christmas surprise! We are now starting a waiting list for her puppies; there are 8 places available in the list. Mercedes had 10 puppies last time. Mom is about 20 inches tall and weighs about 50 pounds. Our lovely standard labradoodle Hiedi has been bred to Dutch. Their puppies will arrive on the fourth of the New Year, ready to go home the last weekend in February. We are expecting a wide range of colors from this pairing. From cream to gold, chocolate and maybe black. There is a waiting list with 8 places; the first choice is already taken. Mom is 21 inches and weighs 55 pounds. Dad is 23 inches and weighs 65 pounds.

Interested in a smaller size pet? Our labradoodle Emma's will be medium size, fathered by Dutch, we are expecting a nice range of colors from black to gold and maybe very rare true red. Emma is due January 15th, puppies will be ready to go home the first week in March. Emma weighs 35 pounds and stands 17 inches tall. There are six places available also for Emma's puppies.

These puppies will be ready to go home at a great time of the year to introduce a new puppy to you family and home. The weather will be turning warmer as spring soon approaches. You'll have to keep your buddle of fluff isolated anyways until you new puppy is about four months old and two weeks past it's last puppy shots to keep her/him from catching a life threatening illness. Everyone will be more willing to help in taking the little puppy outside while it's learning proper potty techniques. After all, who likes to stand outside on a cold, wet, miserable night waiting for a puppy that would rather have stayed inside to go potty?

Our poodles puppies will have tails docked. All puppies will be vet checked and have their dew claws removed. They will be de-wormed and vaccinated on schedule before they go home with you.

Puppies are crate trained; paper trained and will have started learning basic commands and leash training (all depending on the length of time in our home)

the 2010's pricing is listed on our website's puppy page. A $250 non-refundable deposit will hold your very special puppy until its time for you to bring him or her home. Let me introduce myself. Hi, my name is Barbara Larsen. I have been active in the pet industry for more than 22 years. In 1986 I graduated from Friendship Academy For Dogs in Washington DC with a Pet Dog Trainer and Kennel Management Certificate. I later worked as an understudy to Robert Vance with American Canine Institute in Mt. View, Ca. There I learned to Train in Canine Personal Protection, SchH, and Advanced Obedience instruction. I also managed his boarding kennel. At a later date I opened My own training and breeding business. Von Weissenberg German Shepherds and Dog Training, in Fremont California. I trained dogs for others and took my own dogs through a series of obedience and conformation titles. During that same period of time I worked as a Veterinary Technician for All About Pets Animal Hospital. When I moved to Las Vegas In 2001 I found a position as a Manager of a pet store chain. I worked with them for a year and a half and decided to move on. I then returned to the Veterinary Technician field, working with Dr. Elena Pederson at Advanced Animal Hospital.

In 2005 My parents opened a pet store here in Las Vegas, making it a family project. My Mother, father, brother and I ran Vegas Paws. I still do the purchasing of puppies for them. Over the years I’ve met some very nice and reputable folks in this industry. I personally took a trip to their homes and kennels to check them out and make sure everything was clean, up to standard with USDA and all the animals were well taken care of. I met a few I wouldn’t use again and a few who were hardworking friendly folk that took the time and care to do it right.

During the last three years we have added two new children to our brood. I Now am the mother of 4 beautiful daughters. Hence, the need for me to be at home more often came about. I started purchasing puppies from some of these folks that I met along my journey and bringing them into my home, having them vet checked, microchipped socialized with my kids and family and selling them here in Las Vegas.
